Be sure to know what material it will be made out of. That will change how you draw it.
If it's silk, it will most likely be freely flowing and slide down the arm when the arm is raised.
Think of the body type, put that piece of clothing around different body types. You will want the clothing to be able to fit more than one type and still look good.
Think of gravity.
